LOCATION:  Bradbury Church of Christ, 39558 Bradbury Road, Middleport, OH 45760 (Park on the left side of the building and enter the lower level on that side.)

CLASS FEE:  $50 CLASS FEE, $25 non-refundable deposit is due at sign up (please see Policies).  

 

HOW TO REGISTER:  Fill out the registration form for the desired class date, and then pay your deposit by Paypal (click on the Pay Now button on this page), or make arrangements to mail a check.  You will receive confirmation of your registration and deposit payment, along with directions to the classroom.

DESCRIPTION:
This non-live fire shooting course covers the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary for safe gun handling and pistol marksmanship. This course utilizes a virtual training system and simulator pistols (SIRT Glock 17 and SIRT Pocket Pistol) that have a resetting trigger and a two-laser light shot-indicating system. The SIRT pistol has enough weight to feel realistic, and includes a removable simulated magazine and realistic sights. Computer software and a webcam will be used to record shots and provide instant feedback for students and our Instructors.

WHO SHOULD TAKE THIS CLASS:
-Ages 12 and older (under 18 with parent/guardian consent);
-Beginner or inexperienced shooters;
-Students who are unfamiliar with or afraid of guns;
-Intermediate shooters looking for a review of the basics;
-Anyone looking for the fun and enjoyment of training on a simulator!

THE CLASS WILL COVER:
-NRA rules for safe gun handling;
-Fundamentals of pistol marksmanship;
-Practical, hands-on shooting using a simulator pistol

EACH STUDENT RECEIVES A PACKET CONTAINING:
-NRA course completion certificate
-LASR Computer printed record of their shooting skills and accuracy (via email)
-NRA Gun Safety Rules Card

NOTE: NO LIVE FIREARMS OR AMMUNITION IN THE CLASSROOM!
