3-DAY NRA Pistol Instructor Training Course with NRA Training Counselor, Jessamy Bright!

COURSE DATES:   

APRIL 19-21, 2024 (FRIDAY THROUGH SUNDAY)

TIME:  8:00am-6:30pm approx. each day.  Course is objective based, so we allocate extra time for everyone to accomplish the objectives.  Day 3 is expected to run 8:00am-7:00pm approx.

COURSE GOAL: To develop NRA Certified Instructors who possess the knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary to conduct the NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting Course.

This course includes three (3) full days of training:
-NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting - Instructor Led Training (student level course, required pre-requisite)

-NRA Basic Instructor Training (BIT)

-NRA Pistol Instructor Training Course

INSTRUCTOR CANDIDATES ARE REQUIRED TO ATTEND ALL 3 DAYS AS SCHEDULED ABOVE.

Instructor Candidates must attend and pass the NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting, Instructor-Led Training Course as noted on the schedule above, and score a 90% or better on the written test along with the shooting qualification. Prior to the Instructor Training, all candidates will complete a pre-course questionnaire and demonstrate their firearm proficiency in pre-course assessment exercises, including a shooting qualification. Upon successful completion of this Course, Instructor Candidates will be certified by the NRA to teach the NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting Course.
