NRA Pistol Instructor Training Course with NRA Training Counselor, Jessamy Bright!

COURSE DATES:   

Saturday, October 25, 2025, Sunday, October 26, 2025 and Sunday, November 2, 2025

TIME:  8:00am-7:30pm approx. each day.  Course is objective based, so we allocate extra time for everyone to accomplish the objectives, and we will have travel time built into the class as well.​

COURSE GOAL: To develop NRA Certified Instructors who possess the knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary to conduct the NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting Course.

The course fee includes two (2) full days of training, Day 2 and 3 as noted below. Students must attend all 3 days as scheduled below, with separate registration for Day 1:

Day 2 - Sunday, October 26, 2025  - NRA Basic Instructor Training (BIT)

Day 3 - Sunday, November 2, 2025 - NRA Pistol Instructor Training Course

INSTRUCTOR CANDIDATES ARE REQUIRED TO ATTEND ALL 3 DAYS AS SCHEDULED ABOVE.

Instructor Candidates must attend and pass the NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting, Instructor-Led Training Course as noted on the schedule above, and score a 90% or better on the written test along with the shooting qualification. Prior to the Instructor Training, all candidates will complete a pre-course questionnaire and demonstrate their firearm proficiency in pre-course assessment exercises, including a shooting qualification. Upon successful completion of this Course, Instructor Candidates will be certified by the NRA to teach the NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting Course.
